The Mire

The large area between Helmaroc’s Rest and Blubbermountain. A vast plane covered almost entirely with the sludge from Blubbermountain. Dotted with rocks and rickety walkways connecting to the murky “Green River” that runs through it.

In all my exlorations, the Mire is easily one of the most dreadful places I have visited. An unpleasant smell of rotting eggs is one of the things that will remind you that this is not a fun place to be.

Geography

A vast mire stretches from the foothills of the Blubbermountains to Helmaroc's Rest. The sludge from the Blubbermountain makes it almost impossible to travel to by foot.

Fauna & Flora

Aside from the incidential tuft of raised land supporting a few shurbs and a small tree, not much grows here. Some of the species home to the Sludgespike you can find in the Mire are Dreklet and Mirewolf

Natural Resources

The sludge from the blubbermoutain is rich in minerals, metals and oils.
