Marta, the witch lives in a hovel resembling a vulture’s den. Within are corpses and body parts strewn all over the place. When the Ka-Tet arrived she was stripping the corpses of their teeth and their ‘stitchies’, plus also their ‘thingies inside’. Yet again she was someone who knew The Nameless One already.
