Ku'Yin asked the Ka-Tet to help him regain his name, which had been stolen by trickery by a Knight of the Crosstrade called Radine.
The party located Radine and asked for the monk's name, and she offered to sell it it for a great sum of money.
The Nameless One offered her a copy of the Symbol of Torment in exchange for the name and she accepted. Utilising the Tome of Bone and Ash, TNO transferred the Symbol to Radine's arm, and after doing so she screamed in pain. She fled through a portal, leaving behind a pieve of skin with Ku'Yin's name on it.
Returning the nam,e to Ku'Yin allowed him to also leave through a portal, but he left the party a Symbol of Law as a reward.
