Issue 6: "Just Park it in the Yard"
General Summary
After receiving a distress call, the party races to the aid of one of Infinity's targets; - who happens to be Johnny and Bobby's mom!
When they arrive, they find Geomancer fighting off two seven foot tall, blue skinned attackers who conveniently identify each other as Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight. Naturally, the party jumps into the fray to assist.
Upon seeing the party, Proxima Midnight raises her hand and opens a black hole between Bobby and Geomancer! The super-mom senator defended by melting into the earth, but Bobby Ice was sucked into the vortex and disappeared!
Corvus stabbed wildly into the ground in an attempt to strike Geomancer, but none of his attacks struck true. Abe put a stop to his hissy-fit by pushing him back into one of the cars that was parked rather haphazardly in the front yard. Abe casually wondered if the attackers had killed the valet.
Still melted into the earth, Geomancer caused an earthquake that knocked the villains prone, helping to maintain a safe distance between themselves and Corvus's rather fearsome-looking weapon.
Johnny stood in shock. First these blue assholes attack his mom, and now they suck his brother into a black hole? The fiery upstart exploded in a rage, hurling a barrage of Scorching Rays at Proxima. Corvus managed to shield his teammate and deflected the first ray, but the second struck true.
Proxima screamed as Johnny's attack burned through her armor. Her concentration was broken and Bobby reappeared- wet and weirdly sticky but okay- where he had just been standing.
Not really knowing what to do; Donny threw some rocks.
After searching the ground for signs of Geomancer, Corvus slashed open the gas tanks of several cars In a tragically misguided attempt to poison her. Proxima raised an eyebrow in disapproval. When Corvus attempted to use his remaining movement to advance on the party, Abe used his earth-bending powers to push him back - out of striking range and into the area where the gasoline had spilled.
That was when Johnny threw a Firebolt at the gasoline pooled at the villains feet, and the area around them exploded in a Fireball.
It only got worse for the outnumbered villains from there. Geomancer churned the ground around them into mud, pulling them under as Abe used his powers to push a car onto them. Proxima summoned another Black Hole, but she was too off-balance to aim properly and it was easily dodged.
Bobby capitalized by hitting her with a Deep Freeze, rendering the already beleaguered villainesse completely helpless; Johnny wrapped up the encounter by blowing up the car that Abe had pushed onto them.
