Type Genome

The Type Genome is a mysterious and rare condition created by the nefarious "Team Accel," that has astonishing effects on the host's physiology. This condition causes a manifestation of adaptive energy to emanate from the host's body. This energy is always associated with one of the 18 Pokemon Types. This condition is closely linked to the host's mental state and surrounding stimuli.   Driven by an insatiable thirst for power and control, Team Accel attempted to harness the unique abilities of Pokémon Types. Their experiments involve the splicing of Pokémon DNA into human subjects, intending to amplify human potential and establish dominance over both humans and Pokémon alike.

Transmission & Vectors

Received at any given time through Genetic Modification.

Causes

The Type Genome's origin is shrouded in shadows and deception, tracing back to the sinister actions of the clandestine organization known as "Team Accel." They sought to manipulate genetic material to create the ultimate human-Pokemon hybrid that didn't require a Pokemon to survive harsh situations and environments. However, the unanticipated interaction between the introduced DNA and the human genome gave rise to the Type Genome—a condition beyond even Team Accel's expectations.

Symptoms

Adaptive Type energy manifests from the host's body, dependent on the host. May show up many forms, examples including by not limited to: limbs that mimic the host's, a self-defense mechanism, and even an active armament system that can augment the host's current abilities. Some could manifest a transformation similar to Ava's Shadow Form, which causes the user to take on a form that is obviously otherworldly. The natural Weaknesses, Resistances, and Immunities of the user change to match that of the Type their DNA is spliced with. Evidence states that this is not permanent, and the user can reverse the process at will, with practice.

Treatment
