Gothelheim
Gothelheim is the capital and largest city of Lindor. It lays in the Bay of Tears on the Saltbrine Coast.
The city is split into several districts. At its center is the Geldschein Market, where goods and wares are sold. Down by the bayside are the Seeschaum Docks, the port which receives boats and ships from all up and down the Saltbrine Coast. A wide, major thoroughfair called Fest Alley is lined with inns and drinking halls. On the north side of the city is the Fabrikzentrum, a concentration of industry and crafting. The Artificer's Guild has a branch there.
The Candletop district has manors of noble families and halls of academia, including the Quillwächter and the Zauberkunst Academy. On the southern side of the city is Eisenkreuz, the temple district of Gothelheim. It holds temples to various deities, including the Temple of Ilmater, home to the Iron Widows. To the outskirts of the settlement is the Dunkelhaft Reformatorium, a prison and operating center for the law enforcement branch known as the Rechthunde.
Gothelheim is also the site of to the historical home of the Hohenhoch royal family, Hohenhoch Castle. From there Queen Anika VIII and her Kronekreis rule all of Lindor. Among this "Crown's Circle" are the Night Council, a group made up of the three most skilled and powerful mages in the land. Each mage is given one of three symbolic titles: The Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone.
It's also rumored that there is a clandestine organization called the Singvögel. They serve the queen in secret by observing and reporting on the goings-on domenstically and abroad.
