Iwi (ee-wee)

The people of Io, who live on Kainga Whenua. They speak the tongue specific to the island nation known as Te Ao.
Iwi have light brown skin, a range of brown hair colors, and brown eyes. Those of them who achieve honors in their lives are given tattoos on their faces and bodies to commemorate these accolades.
