The Moon is a natural satellite of earth. Since the offworld mining race of the 2050-2070s, the Moon has been home to an increasingly large network of mining and refinery operations. Despite this, the Moon is inhospitable, and few if any people actively seek residence on the Moon out of anything but nessecity.
