Scandanavian Union formed

Founding

Scandanavian and northern countries exit the European Union and form their own political/economic/defensive union.

A rise in national identity of the northern nations towards the end of the Twenty-First Century saw an expression of these countries as distinct and separate from those of southern countries. Many of these countries were once part of the European Union, but the rising nationalism brought about a desire for more regional self-determination, particularly as a more capable unity against ongoing Russian aggression.
