An infection to the meridians of the victim, causing their passive magic to flow continuously, weakening them. Deadly if untreated in Pureblood and some Half-blood . Can be caused by Hu Li Jing Poison

Transmission & Vectors

Can be infected by Hu Li Jing Poison , can be obtained by over-stimulation and over-cultivation of passive magic

Symptoms

Fever, headache, sensitive passive magic, accidental magic, gradual organ failure, blood loss through orifices

Treatment

Meridian-closing tonic, takes several weeks to offset

Prognosis

Potentially fatal, constantly open meridians causing hemorrhaging passive magic

The more powerful the mage, the more deadly the infection

Harry Potter contracted this condition after being poisoned with Hu Li Jing Poison by Evan Rosier in August 1881
