Baron Hugo di Essta is the ruling baron of the West Marcian town of Essta. He has held the post since the passing of his father, Lugo di Essta in 969. He is the definition of middle management, holding some power but not a lot to truly make a difference. He is married to Junita, and has two children. A son named Barbo and a daughter named Julietta.

Baron Hugo was privately educated by his mansion's tutor, a southern Elf academic named Dordrael. She taught him extensive study of the humanities, although he never truely grasped them. His family connections led him to do a degree in Classical Studies in Falzeno, however he left after his second year due to a scandel involving the trafficking of illegal drugs.

Employment

He is offically a vassal of the Duke of Altruscia and runs the town of Essta as a chief adiminstrator. He is middling at his job, niether being particullarly good nor particularlly awful.

Morality & Philosophy

He is generally selfish and will tend to favour deals that largely benefit him other the rest of his town or close family and friends. Altruism and "rightousness" aren't really in his vocabularly.
