Booze Boons
Followers of The church of Olidammara, and sometimes even unaffiliated volunteers, have been known to spontaneously approach random strangers, present them with alcohol, and then walk way. These gifts are affectionately known as "Booze Boons".
History
Booze Boons actually began as a sort of hazing ritual within the church itself. New followers would be assigned an "urgent mission" to deliver a mysterious, unlabelled package. Usually they would be told to deliver the package to someone who didn't exist, or to a place that did not exist, or given such vague instructions that determining the "correct" recipient would be impossible. Eventually this process became too well known to continue but also too beloved to discontinue, and so this new tradition was formed as something of a compromise solution.
Execution
All churches and priests of Olidammara accept drinks as donations to be used for this purpose. The donor then specifies who they want the recipient to . These can range from very generic requests such as "for someone who is having a bad day" or for disturbingly specific ones, such as "for someone who is wearing mismatched socks to the market on a Tuesday afternoon". Followers of the church will then take a large number of these donated beverages with them during their travels, remaining constantly vigilant for individuals who satisfy the criteria.
For most requests the church does not have the manpower to promise a donation will be fulfilled. For particularly meaningful requests however, such as those made in honor of the recently departed, priests will go to great lengths to make their deliveries. This is one of few things the church actually takes seriously.
