Camus

Camus, conduit of Sacrifice, is an eladrin man working for the Church of Ascension. He is unrelated to the infamous Age of Sacrifice that had previously caused mass flooding throughout the Prime Material Plane. His power is to take other people's burdens upon himself. He can harm himself to heal others of their wounds, for example.  After serving the church with distinction throughout The Age of Coalescence, Camus is now a high-ranking official.  He travels the continent seeking new recruits for the cause.
