Church of Ascension

The Church of Ascension, originally founded in Vigrid during Ragnarok, has since expanded to the Prime Material Plane and has established itself as a small, yet well-known, cult. Despite calling themselves a church, this organization is not dedicated to any god in particular. Instead of being dedicated to one god, they believe in millions of gods. Specifically, they believe that each and every mortal has some degree of godly power within them. All mortals, according to the church, have the capacity to serve as Conduits to the various Forms. They believe that everyone is associated with some form or other, and that this association could be used to harness great power. If all mortals were capable of such feats, then there would be no need for gods in their current form. The church of ascension gladly welcomes anyone, including ordained priests of other religions. They do not seek to replace the pantheon, but instead to help mortals ascend to a higher existence and better themselves. Well-trained members of the church of ascension possess "Conduit powers", unique abilities associated with their associated form. Some of these are practically meaningless, while others are incredibly powerful. They have gotten more aggressive with their recruitment efforts of late, and sometimes stalk Conduits and approach with pamphlets once they are alone.
