OttL Session 41: Hyrsay-sam

General Summary

The crew is gathered next to an army of Satyr led by Hyrsam, Prince of Fools. Booze was given out to him and his people, but he hasn't taken a drink himself. An hour passes, and Hyrsam looks at Hobbs.

"So, what are you folks actually here for?"

Talking With Hyrsam

• Hobbs does his best to answer Hyrsam's question by giving a very quick recap.
• Hyrsam says that Hobbs hasn't changed much.
• Hobbs gives Hyrsam a rough list of the people the crew hate.
• Natsu and Hobbs almost let slip that Vecna and Lolth are the same person.
• Hyrsam asks the majority of the crew "So, who are you?". He asks Hobbs what he stands for. He asks Natsu "What are you?".
• The crew clarifies that we - indeed - have an army.
• Hobbs absolutely denies Hyrsam on his want to control Shippo.
• We learn that the Feywild is scared of the merge and building armies.
• Hyrsam agrees to ally if we take Dave and allow him to help take down Lolth.

Hobbs' Conduit

• Thaiva is beckoned to fight a burly satyr. Hyrsam gives Hobbs a drinking horn, and whispers something into his ear.
• Hobbs glows green as well as Thaiva's claws.
• Thaiva calls Nihilo and lets him know that we have Dave.
• Ted grabs Dave and starts melting for a moment before we finally get Dave in the box.
• We see a mindflayer jumping rope with intestines. Then decide to call it a night when it disappears, and head back to Shippo.

Politics in Shippo

• Natsu, Hobbs, Thaiva, Ted, and Femtid go to the Elders of Shippo.
• We let them know we allied Hyrsam with Shippo.
• Femtid convinces the Elders to allow Hobbs to be an Elder.
• We plane shift into the Prime Material Plane above a forest.
