Rainy Grove
Geography
Despite the name, Rainy Grove is actually neither rainy nor a grove. Instead, it is a small forest that receives only 30-35 inches of rain per year. Located in the heart of Elegant Grassland, just across the Virlem River from Kilead. It has sustained some damage from The Blood Crusades, but has been recovering nicely thanks to the efforts of a particularly fastidious druid by the name of Pestle.
Fauna & Flora
The forest contains the typical spread of wildlife you would expect to see in a temperate forest, most notably deer, raccoons, foxes, hawks, and porcupines. About a decade ago, this was also home to a small flock of Kenku. The flock disappeared almost completely overnight, for unknown reasons.
Natural Resources
There is a wide variety of medicinal herbs to be found here. Fresh water is also easily accessible, thanks to the nearby Virlem River.
