JumBuck

A wooly ovine herd animal that dwells in scrubland, foothills, and marshes. JumBucks are incredibly stupid, incredibly nervous, and incredibly clumsy. However they are also incredibly agile, leaping and frantically scrambling to escape at the slightest movement. When cornered they will leap and jab and scratch their cloven feet in the soft belly flesh of an attacker, causing internal organ damage and even open wounds. This makes hunting them for hides or sustenance incredibly difficult, but the dense wooly fleece of the animal and its fatty, highly nutritious, moss-fed flesh are worth the effort.
