KillMedia: AutoKill Arenas
KilMedia is a production company that broadcasts live automotive DethSports from a huge and diverse variety of AutoKill Arenas located across the entire PBA. Originally one of many media brands covering similar events, the corp quickly rose to prominence after signing a prestigious contract with the Labour Banishment Nexus to broadcast AutoKill DethSports, notably the DethCity1000, from within its gigantic security walls. The Labour Banishment Nexus (LBN), or The Filth as it's known colloquially, is the largest correctional facility in the PBA.
Once the deal was struck, the other media outlets soon evaporated or got bought out by KillMedia, leaving them as the primary purveyor of vehicular DethSports on the planet.
Due to its proximity to The Filth, KillMedia's HQ is now based in GigaCity19, or "The Fury", a neighbouring island GigaCity with an economy relying mainly on ex-InMates from The Filth, and AutoKill tourist fans.
KillMedia's AutoKill brand is the PBA's most popular form of culture with countless leagues, divisions, and championships in every InSide and OutSide environment and Unvironment imaginable. As broadcast media AutoKill provides a constant stream of brutally addictive entertainment with intricate arcs of spectacular gladiatorial violence.
KillMedia established AutoKill based on Management analysis of the once great civilisations of the AntiNow. A toxic fusion of sport, gambling, gladiatorial combat and advertising that maintain the peak levels of aggression, excitement, and consumption required to fuel their agenda.
An AutoKill 'Arena' is a location, genre, league, specific event, tournament, basically any self contained sphere of activity under the world famous KillMedia: AutoKill Arenas repertoire of DethSports. Each 'Arena' has its own branding, fanbase and cultural influences. The Arena is a sanctioned war zone and has averted many otherwise costly and devastating inter Synt/GC conflicts. The Arenas exist as testing grounds where Syntients and GigaCities compete with their latest technologies, weaponry, materials and pilot indoctrination regimes to define the apex of technological progress.
In AutoKill competitions lethality, durability, and speed are tested to brutal extremes. An AutoKill Arena is a test bed for emergent engineering and MiliTech, hybrid human, ABE, and Syntient piloting systems fuse with experimental vehicles and weaponry to push the limits of high speed combat performance.
The AutoKill Arenas of the GC outer belts provide GigaCitizens with a playground in which to fully unleash their vehicles destructive potential. This is supported by a competitive market in vehicular upgrades, Corp sponsorship and merchandise offering fame and affluence to anyone willing to participate. Meanwhile in the cores of GigaCities Syntients battle for supremacy with bleeding edge technologies, utilising speeds and manoeuvres impossible for biological drivers to conceive of, mainly for their own entertainment. These high end showdowns of lightening fast strategy provide entertainment for the Core Dwellers and NoBloods once the footage has been slowed down to a perceptible speed, and the gear used in these epic confrontations eventually filters down to street level in a decidedly lower build-quality format.
AutoKill is more than just a DethSport, it's a way of life.
Any level of GigaCitizen participation is rewarded with exclusive merchandise and rights, from stewards, track clearance workers and pit crew to popular commentators and combatants. Hive score bonuses, access to exclusive AK Arena content, postponed euthanasia, procreation allowances and limited edition merchandise are just some of the generally available perks.
NonComp groups claim AutoKill is the Syntient equivalent of a ‘video game‘ in which GigaCitizens are willingly slaughtered for their cryptic agendas. This fiercely suppressed theory has yet to affect ratings.
The AutoKill Arena is an approved environment in which any individual or Corp can resolve disagreements using any methods necessary, many organisations in the PBA use Arenas to settle scores and debts, with corporate 'Arena Champion' being a commonplace job title within the hierarchy of a corp. A good champion can stave off excessive pay-outs and defend policy. AutoKill Arena Aces are driver/combatants who ace any particular Arena, referred to as having AAA status. AAA status is a badge of pride and the recipients will often proudly display the triple A on their vehicles and flesh. To claim AAA status under false pretences is a serious taboo to the majority of society.

Structure
Mogul is the Synt CEO of KillMedia. There are a variety of middle management Synts and human SpecReps and underlings running the day to day operations of the enormous variety of AutoKill Arenas across the PBA.
Culture
The culture within KillMedia is very much centred around the glorification of the extreme. Bravado and machismo filtered through the psychosis of constantly chugging Warrior Combat Juice and ToxiCola is the baseline corporate culture. At every level within the corporate structure, fake, sycophantic kiss-assery is a mainstay of all interactions, but behind false smiles wages an often deadly secret war over opportunities for career progression.
Public Agenda
KillMedia wants to make the gap between becoming conscious, and having your undivided attention occupied by vehicular DethSports as small as possible. They ThoughtCast, broadcast, and HiveStream a diverse portfolio of different deadly automotive competitions all day every day. There's always a death race, duel, or derby starting somewhere in the PBA, KillMedia aims to cover them all.
Assets
A massive HQ complex situated in The Fury
A fleet of recorder drones, collecting full spectrum sensory data in every conceivable format.
Multiple SubHQs on every landmass of the PBA, each with their own fleets of vehicles, security teams, events managers etc.
Thousands of different AutoKill Arenas, varying from fairly simple race circuits in backwater PicaCity mining settlements, to the jewel in the crown of the KillMedia portfolio, the DethCity1000, a glorious 1000 mile spectacle of high decibel violence and brutal competition running through the maze-like PlastCrete streets of the planet's largest and highest security prison GigaCity, the Labour Banishment Nexus.
