The Pit
‘The Pit’ is the common term for the main gambling sectors of The Fury. Buried deep within the lower levels of the GigaCity for security purposes, The Pit is experienced as a seemingly bottomless multi-layered labyrinth with reputable establishments on its upper levels, and illegal games and violence becoming more prevalent on the lower floors.
A tangled maze layout convoluted by cryptic signage makes it easy for a visitor to get lost within minutes, sometimes never being seen on the surface again. The remainder of their lives lived out alternately becoming fantastically wealthy, then disgustingly poor, before finally accumulating enough debt that they become commodified as a living jackpot prize, passed from punter to punter as wageless and confused butler/bodyguards, wondering how long it was since they left their families behind for "one last go on the machines" before returning home.
The Pit is overseen by brutally efficient PitBosses , ex LBN InMates who know the scams and enjoy administering justice.
Some of The Fury’s largest coin and chip vaults can be found interred at key points within The Pit. These heavily defended units hold phenomenal stores of currency and valuable raw materials from virtually every corner of the PBA. Despite being seamlessly concealed in the fabric of The Fury, P0ka's vaults are occasionally targeted in daring heists by organised gangs posing as visitors and the inevitable disgruntled employee.
Laced through the fabric of The Pit are woven many race tracks, some rumoured to be connected by tunnels to LBN, used by some of the LBN’s underground racing legends to travel to and compete in Fury events.
