GigaCity19
The Fury, officially designated GigaCity19, is a fortress island off the west cost of the Labour Banishment Nexus.
The Fury is the first destination for InMates released from LBN. It serves as a temporary holding facility for Q_Rank:0 Comps as they are processed for deployment to FED facilities across the PBA. Due to the erratic nature of inter-GC bureaucracy this can take anywhere from moments to decades. Since GC19 was founded it has catered for those starved of freedom and pleasure with time to kill. This has become its primary industry, with The Fury now ranking as one of the top leisure destinations in the PBA.
Within its BlastWalls The Fury consists of an immense, elaborate, and largely automated leisure multiplex. Every sector boasts winding gambling dens crammed with cunningly convoluted games, depraved super clubs hosting endless multi level raves, and glitzy race tracks (notably The GetAway) with integrated bulletproof cocktail bars with dining and viewing areas. The entire GC is a macrocosm of the mind of P0ka, the GCSynt in charge of The Fury.
To ensure complete visitor immersion, vast areas of The Fury’s exterior are almost entirely windowless, with the exception of exclusive suites on the upper levels where privileged guests can enjoy views across the murky ocean to the dull glow of LBN. The Fury is also one of the few GigaCIties in the PBA to not support a TimeSlice.
Escapees from LBN are a persistent issue, with the majority gaining access via the tunnels that connect the islands. Some pay a premium to be smuggled past The Fury’s checkpoints, while the most desperate brave the journey on foot, traversing the labyrinthine duct systems and maintenance tubes within the gigantic BlastWalls of the GC with only fragments of faded copies of outdated blueprints to guide them.
Those with no funds can risk taking loans from The Fury's multitude of banks. Charged at exponential interest the Comp can quickly find themselves indentured to serve in The Fury’s grimy refuse tunnels and sordid hospitality suites.
Some say the Fury exists to strip InMates from their resources before they are finally released into the PBA.

Industry & Trade
Gambling and entertainment are the primary industries, with a healthy import/export market for Chemix and BioGrog. Pigment manufacturers, hologram programmers, and neon sign producers are also numerous in the outer belts, supplying the endless need for ever brighter and more colourful displays and signage, as well as the black market demand for pigments from The Filth.
Infrastructure
The Fury is synonymous with the worst excesses of hedonistic debauchery, every aspect of its infrastructure is designed to maximise gratification. Constant patrols of Floor Sweepers travel between levels collecting the slumped casualties who are transported to LBN themed isolation cubes to sober them up and send them back out, minimising visitor down time. All walkways and roadways are meticulously calculated to pass by the various temptations of The Fury at the optimal speed and at the precise moment the visitor is most susceptible to its lures.
Beneath the commercial top layer of GC infrastructure is The Pit. A layered subterranean descent into ever increasing debauchery and violent danger, rumoured to be the entry/exit to the under-sea tunnels going to and from The Filth.
Assets
The Fury specialises in AutoKill Arena events gaming, hosting its own in house league and exclusive races broadcast live from LBN. Heavy track-side cannons operated by remote PayPerShot booths are especially popular in The Fury’s clubs and casinos.
The Fury boasts a level of security and surveillance that far outstrips that of the LBN itself. Some of the primary GigaCity security and surveillance systems adopted across the PBA were initially developed in The Fury as measures to protect its gambling assets. Service and security operatives are recruited from the steady stream of released LBN InMates, notably those whose FED deployment is compromised by their immediate relapse into the NonComp lifestyle on entering The Fury. These staff often find themselves wearing InMate uniforms for service in the LBN themed clubs and BioGrog bars.
Tourism
The Fury draws wealthy thrill seekers from across the PBA and is a known haunt of jaded NoBloods and Senescents. Fans of infamous InMates also travel to The Fury on their release in the hopes of meeting, partying and even duelling with their heroes, while bitter rivals and victims of crimes visit to exact their revenge.
Bounty hunters flock to The Fury, attracted by the numerous InMates with outstanding contracts against them. Competition can get heated with mass shootouts triggered by mistaken identities and intoxication. Assassins are another serious security issue, regularly hired to terminate individuals who have squandered their corp's assets at the tables and racetracks.
As part of their induction to The Fury, newly arrived guests are scanned for chronological monitoring hardware which is confiscated until their departure. Guests, especially newly released InMates, quickly lose all concept of time, with just a memory collage of Chemix soaked moments for reference. Many newly released InMates find themselves heading back to LBN on fresh charges before they’ve had a chance to sleep.
By far the largest draw for tourists though, is the DethCity1000 1000 mile death race, one of the most brutal races in the whole PBA. It takes place within LBN once every cycle, and unlike many other events broadcast by Fury based KillMedia the 1000 is not broadcast PBA-wide, its viewing is restricted to The Filth and The Fury alone. Since getting in to The Filth tends to be a one way journey, it falls on The Fury to host the vast majority of DethCity fans for the event.
Architecture
The architectural forms of The Fury are the antitheses of LBN architecture. Curved walls invite and envelop, guiding visitors without their direct knowledge. Vibrant lights and vivid patterns steer the hypnotised guests past softened edges towards alluring gaming machines and tables.
