Derisaí Range
The peaks, capped with snow, disappear into the shroud of clouds above. A green blanket of trees hugs the base, fed by the glistening falls cascading down the crags. Birds of prey circle above, keen eyes roving for meals below. The wind flows easily and strongly through the mountain passes, frigid but clean and carrying myriad scents from faraway places.The mountains of the Derisaí range are located in the central parts of Taretza, and are characterized by strong winds that flow between the peaks. Despite the seeming excitement of the many flying creatures, the mountains are mostly serene offering stunning views of the Odise flatlands to the south, and the Volopin Woods to the north. There is a small town located on the western edge of the mountains called Zephyr belonging to the Jozu Dynasty. Like most places on Taretza, the mountains aren't fully safe as the many flying beasts are on the constant lookout for their next prey.
