Cordyr's Coast

A small bay provides western access to the ocean. A large river feeds into it from the north. High mountains form the southern and part of the eastern border. The majority of the city is built in the plain to the east and north. Some of the city is built upon the lower portion of the southern mountains. To the northwest, the Lord Warden’s Manor sits upon hills. A city wall covers the northern and eastern borders before running into the mountains and forming a tower and small keep.

Government

Lord Jindrus Malifax rules over Cordyr Coast and is Lord Warden of the Crown.

Defences

The mountains and ocean provide natural defenses for the city. A wall has been constructed to block off the rest of the mainland with only a few gates of entry. The Gate of the Western Eye actually resides on the east side of the city and leads directly to the Pass of the Western Eye. The Warden’s Gate is near the Ilbrand River and is just north of the city. The Aerial Army has a very small outpost with about 29 soldiers. The Crown Defense represent the majority of the protection in the city. There are 529 available soldiers for the Crown Defense that guard the city walls. Lord Warden Malifax holds a personal guard of about 121 men and women.

Industry & Trade

Cordyr’s Coast receives a great deal of trade from it’s harbor and docks. Ships sale from Old Dorgoth, port cities of Aer, and all the way from Aestonia into Cordyr’s Coast. The ocean provides a steady supply of seafood and pearls. The rolling hills and forests to the north provide plenty of lumber and the river allows for quick transport. The mountains near the city house deep mines and plenty of stone and iron.
