Primea Assurian Basin

It's the year 726 after Kadmiels Conquest. After the Death of Emperor Esthon Eleazar XXIII, the Assurian Basin is experiencing unstable times. The Eleven Year War just ended, leading to the formation of a new province within the Empire: Weresoc is a poor, war-ridden province with only a few populated cities left. It is still dependent on the aid and military protection from the Senate - an institution that without the counterpart of an Emperor is as inconsistent as it is unreliable.   While few try to maintain stability within the Empire and rebuilt what was lost during the last decade, some already cry for yet another civil war, others wish to take the Emperor's place for themselves, and again others wish for secession from the Empire. No one pays attention to the ever-growing threat in the north.
