Personal history

Satyrs believe life is a gift from the gods and the best way to honor that gift is to revel in life and all its pleasures. They believe other people are too burdened with seriousness and see revelry as the only way to truly appreciate each moment of spontaneous delight as it comes.   Satyrs generally skew toward goodness, but they have devious streaks, as well, which makes them more catered to chaotic alignments. In addition to their infamous bacchanals and free-loving way of life, satyrs in D&D are especially known for their eccentricities, which worry one too many about why these creatures behave the way they do.   Satyrs find that the world is too serious. Politics bore them, wars don’t make sense to them, and even creatures like gnomes are looking too hard for something to do. For satyrs, life is to be experienced. They want to slow down and smell the flowers, and then party until the sun rises.   To the outsider, a satyr party is nothing more than a drunken festival, full of alcohol and unspeakable acts. That’s not far off, but for satyrs, revelry is a way of life. Partying is more about breaking the tight, confining restraints of time. It’s about tasting a delicious pie, listening to the birds sing, and embracing your surroundings with all of your senses.

Virtues & Personality perks

Flowers are the most amazing things ever. I want to pick them, wear them, and discover their silent secrets.   Sometimes talking to a plant really helps.   If I have something really important to say, I always make sure to sing it.
