Roxnall

Roxnall is a kingdom of opposites. Some areas are properly organized, while others are thrown together. The people will often say one thing and do another. The reason for this is most everyone can see the future to some degree.

Lavendris is many things. The kingdom is often chaotic, with some neighbourhoods perfectly organized and others just thrown together. These people swing one way and then another at a moments notice. Still, they are all lost in their own minds, filled with visions of the future.

Everyone has the ability to look at a person and know their name, instantly, as well as a general opinion of their personality. They can tell if you are friendly, or murderous or just an asshole, and will react to you accordingly, the moment they meet you.

The Stamfair Cay is an island of illusions. Things appear or disappear seemingly at random. Small things from baskets to large things like buildings are subject to these illusions.. They can change shape or colour or appear to move at will.

Characters from Roxnall gain a 1/day ability to twist fate and re-roll a single die roll of the players choice.

Structure

It is really unclear how the nation of Roxnall runs. Buildings are built, taxes are collected and no one seems to know how it all happened. There is no formal application for Fateseer, they just show up. There are always 2 however, and suddenly one can be replaced without comment or fuss.

Culture

This nation enjoy practical jokes and illusions, however they do not find them funny, more interesting. It is also typical for people to change or cancel plans a staggering amount of plans, as flashes of foresight come to them. This makes for a population who seemingly know everything and find nothing new, however, not all they see is true or accurately interpreted. Lavendis does not make things clear, and nothing gets the people talking more than a surprise event.

The population is spread evenly across the land of Roxnall. There is a large settlement near the mountains, but there are no settlements in the mountains or on the far side.

Religion

Roxnall is a deeply religious kingdom, however there is very little temple going. The people see Lavendris in their dreams, dreams that give portents of the future. They often speak, saying all things were seen or foretold by Lavendris, but that is the most they worship out loud. There is another practice, that outsiders find very perplexing. People often try to play pranks and tricks on each other, and those who can “see” the trick coming, and prove it by turning it onto its creator are said to be blessed by Lavendris.
