Great Continent

The Great Continent is the primary land mass of the world of Prodat. It stretches over 12000 miles from east to west and 9000 miles from north to south.
On the eastern coast lie the lands of Zantor in the north, and the <Southern Lands> in the south.  On the western coast are the lands of Galea  which were discovered by an expedition of entrepreneurs and explorers from Zantor seeking new lands and new trade routes. (For more on this, see <Discovery of Galea>. Galea had no major civilization to speak of until settlers from Zantor arrived started to spread along the coast.
