The World of Arcarain

This world is stil in development. Most names are placeholders or temperary used and might be changed in the future.

Arcarain is setting in the urban fantasy world with the complex unique magic system. It have the concept of Gintama and video game MapleStory.

Magic

The world have magic, animal have magic, everyone have magic! All you need to know is the way nature works, so able to craft spells and skills by yourself. The knowledge is the key, and the only limitation is your imagination. WIthout them and you will be consumed.

Backstory

Before the magic existed, wars used to be declared like morning routine that everyone was getting used to. It even worse when the Great Magic Infusion cause all living things to have magic, leading into the great period of world war and depression that lasted for centuries. According to related myth and legands, it was a hell on earth.

Thanks to the army created by Queen Arcaraina of Celestia, she finally manage to stop the such war and bring back the peace.

Now it's 203 AE, the Age of Restoration. The war is a thing in the past. The green of nature is fully return, engulfing all the remain of violence and loss, turning into magnificent place waiting for new generation to discover.

We, the player, are the explorer.

The Continents

The world consist of four major continents, in which conquered or heavily influenced by four great rulers.

Quaduvia

The southern continent that temperate and abundance. It's ruled by Yean P'ezero, the Emperor of Men of Yeatonion Empire with 4 other countries nearby which is considered the most advanced place in the world.

Azaxen

Cold all year long, the northern continent is full of dangers, threats and monsters. A deep, dark fantasy secrets are waitng for the true brave.

Chises Archipelago

The group of islands on the eastern side. With tropical climate these are brimming with bizarre floras and faunas.

Lefalsia

The western continent and the largest one. It have various climate and mountainous at some point, where Celestia stand here. However, the internal conflict cause the kingdom to fall apart by two influential powers who's daughters of the Queen; Empress of Hope of the west and Empress of Triumph of the east.

Species

These continents homes to very different type of species. Many are hostile living in the wilderness, while some of them are intelligent enough to form their own civilizations - like human and elves, for example.

There are more than 30 unique species in the world with bizarre origin.
