Take a good look at this place. Stunning, isn't it. The architecture. The technology. The arts. The laws. The people. Was a time when this place was a part of something lesser...but something greater. It's almost incredible, isn't it? Just how harmonious Concordia is. It's...actually incredibly frightening when you peel back the gold-lining.
And we've already begun to reveal what it hides.
Synopsis
The son of a controversial yet successful senator, Thomas Maxwell is a talented mage and an academic prodigy. However, Thomas and his father are two sides of a coin and rarely get along, yet his father has extremely high hopes for his son. Almost the point that his expectations are impossible to achieve. Thomas is constantly compared to his father, almost everyone hoping that he is his father's successor.
But nothing Thomas does ever lives up to expectations...at least according to Senator Maxwell.
Already finding it difficult to live in his father's ever darker and growing shadow, Thomas suffering from depression and anxiety, decides that one night he can't take the stress of his life anymore. About to tie a noose around his neck, a sudden surge of power is felt in his room, and a strange portal opens up in front of him. A man of religion, Thomas thinks this is some divine intervention. He feels a strange peace overtake him and decides to step through the portal.
Emerging from the other side of the portal, Thomas finds himself not in Heaven nor Hell but the city known as Concordia in the year 2065. And although he finds the city much to his liking, he quickly realizes that something is very off.
