Luna

As Earth's only natural satellite, Luna (sometimes simply known as "the Moon") is the location of many firsts in the history of spaceflight. Most notably of course it was the first other celestial body visited by human beings, when Alina Melinkova first stepped onto the surface in 1967. Later on it became the site of the first offworld colonies, starting with refueling stations which served as a jumping of point for crewed interplanetary exploration. The first of these was Artemis Base, which has since grown into one of Sol's premier financial centers.
