Description
Anomaly 1049-M, known to inhabitants as "KTSD-TV", is a local television station available in the town of
Rosewood. Anomaly 1049-M is not based in Rosewood, but does cover news in the town and surrounding area. It is possible for TV sets outside of the Rosewood perimeter to pick up this channel, requiring strict containment protocols. The location from which Anomaly 1049-M is broadcast cannot be determined, though it does appear to come from within the perimeter.
Anomaly 1049-M claims to be a member of South Dakota Public Broadcasting (SDPB), and will regularly mention affiliated stations. However, SDPB did not begin television broadcasts until July 5, 1961, approximately eight years after Rosewood's time loop. Additionally, while Anomaly 1049-M will make reference to accurate historical people and events, it will also reference altered or unknown content. News reports sometimes feature anomalies, but they are always presented as mundane.
