Ellelin

Native home of all elves in Prosi. It is considered the capital for its region of Prosi.
Ellelin lies deep within the Glistening Woods. Despite its vast size Ellelin is incredibly hard to find unless you know where it is even if you have a map. While non-elves are welcome in the city they rarely get invited above the forest floor. They consider leaving the floor to be something only those that understand nature and the woods should be permitted to do. It is considered a high crime to damage the forest within the city limits.
The trees in Ellelin are larger than the already large trees of the Glistening Woods. Aided with elven magic they have grown to be more than 50 ft in diameter.
In a desire to live with the forest itself Ellelin is a city built around, on, and in the trees.
On the forest floor you will find farms, animal paddocks, merchant stores, and inns for travelers. You could live on the forest floor without any issue and many non-elves do so. Houses are carved around the woods sometimes using the trees themselves for walls to their house. If a sapling begins to grow in your yard you must adjust your house to accommodate it.
There are many ramps formed on the side of the trees corkscrewing their way up around the trees. The ramps are not attached to the trees but rather through magic the trees grew ramps out allowing people to go up. As you go up higher you will find homes and shops on the sides of the ramps, walkways connecting to other trees, and again through magic buildings carved out inside the trees themselves.

Elves make up the majority of the population however all races are welcome.

Government

There is no strict government setup to Ellelin as they believe in personal freedom. Their is a monarchy but whether an inhabitant chooses to swear fealty to the monarchs is a personal choice, though one they are bound to if they make it.

Defences

Attacking Ellelin and the surrounding area is immensely complicated because of the Glistening Woods. It is said that the defenders of Ellelin can travel to anywhere in the woods without stepping foot on the forest floor. Invading the island from the ground is an exercise in futility as they the defenders will know of your landing quickly and be able to watch your every movement through the woods.

Industry & Trade

Steelwood is the number one export from the city. They also export high quality spirits with beer and wine. Spellcasters often travel to the city to learn about their nature magics though they aren't always taught.

Assets

Ellelin is home to the only woodsmiths in Prosi. A woodsmith fashions items out of wood using a combination of magic, heat, and time. Through this process they create swords and armor every bit as strong as metal and at a fraction of the weight. Steelwood is an incredibly valuable material because the process to create it is immensely longer than for just plain steel.
