Glistening Woods
An ancient forest found on the western island of Prosi. It is the ancestral home of the elves. It is so named because dew drops on the leaf floor of the woods reflects what little light gets through the forest canopy and shines brightly.
The tree trunks of the forest are spaced out fifty to one hundred feet. The canopies of those trees though become intertwined and tangled blocking out most of the sun from hitting the forest floor. This means little can naturally grow on the floor as little sunlight gets through. What sunlight does get through hits the dew that stays on the lower levels of the forest for most of the day creating light bright enough to see.
The forest is home to a great number of beasts, fey, and other creatures.
