The Council of All

The Council of All, also referred to as The Grand Balance or United Eternals are 12 of the highest powers of divinity both good and evil. A panel of both gods and ancient cosmic being selected to represent each of the corners of existence for all things... Natural, Unnatural, Life, Death, Good, Evil, Light, Darkness, Time, Untime, Forever and Forgotten. The scale for which all things are made, the very equilibrium for continuance. This steady measurement for what is balanced was decided by 6 celestial and 6 cosmic beings in an effort to control every grain of Prototokos. These 12 forces were selected by peers of their own following and would be avatars for their cause. Gifted by the many trial and error flaws of previous realms, this new creation would give opportunity for a peaceful truce...and this truce was not easy to accept for any and all. But was necessary to maintain, and assure the existence of these immortals. In the endless battle of god vs god, god vs cosmos, and cosmos vs cosmos...the one forever known certainty, is that one cannot subsist without the other. Chosen through vigorous advocation each of the 12 were selected....

Celestial Icons

Odin - God of war and of the dead. He rules over Valhalla – “the hall of the slain”. All Vikings and Valkyries who died in battle belonged to him. Zeus - The Olympian god of the sky and the thunder, the king of all other gods and men, and, consequently, the chief figure in Prototokos Eldath - The guardian of groves, and her presence is felt wherever there is calm. A pacifist who avoids hostile action, even if threatened. Although quiet, she unknown depths of character and unexpressed resolve that cannot be broken. Hel - Referred to as the "Two-Faced Terror", she is an ancient goddess of the dead within the mythology of viking belief Hades - God of the Underworld, the place where human souls go after death. In time, all olympians die...and some souls become entangled in "The River Styx" for eternity Asmodeus - The Faerûnian deity of indulgence and ruler of all devils. Patron of oppression and power, the greatest devil, and the Lord of the Ninth and overlord of the Nine Hells as a whole.

Cosmic Icons

Euphrosyne - Creator of Good Cheer, Joy and Mirth. Her name is euphrosynos, which means "merriment". Selected to fill the realm with pleasant moments and good will. Gywn - Lord of Sunlight and Cinder, he is said to have kindled the first flame on Prototokos and was one of the first four of the council selected Astraios - Also known as " Zodiac Father" and Creator of Stars and Planets and of the art of astrology. Father of the Stars and the four seasonal winds. Artist of constellations and commander of galaxy space far and wide. Surtur - Fire demon of death and slaughter, a volcano of destruction and extradimensional violence. Rivaled by only gods, Surtur demanded he be present at the council...and so it was done. Cthulu - A Great Old One of great power who lies in a death-like slumber in the depths of space on the planet of R'lyeh. He remains a dominant presence in the eldrich dealings on the realm and maintains a suffocating grip on dreams, turning them to unholy nightmares. Nito - First of the Dead, and the last icon selected. He acts as the wielder of death and disease, and is the master of the first Grave Covenant. He dispersed the first flame that Gwyn started...stating "It was to keep balance!"
