Description
The first known Mageborn to Sephra, Ulthis Pyle has lived an excruciatingly long life, filled with adventure and pain, both physical and mental. In the modern era, he is known in Arhead Holm as the drunken vagrant "Pyle", as he does not wish to be called by his given name due to the fame attached to it. In the previous eras, he had been instrumental in assisting Sephra, and even the whole of Qestra with a great many cataclysms, including the Great Demon Wrath and the Fall of Gol, the later of which being the last known record of the man as he had departed away from the public eye shortly after.Mental characteristics

Bio
Born during the age of the first men, Ulthis was born to a family of commoners in a small village somewhere in the wilds of Sephra. At the age of 7, he began to display supernatural abilities that no one in his village had ever witnessed before. Some believed that he had a communion with devils and sold his soul for these powers, others thought that he was sent by the gods to protect them, but he saw his gift as nothing more than a toy for his childish entertainment. One day, a group of scholars who had heard of the boys supernatural abilities came to the modest village to study him. They told him that what he was using was an energy that was currently being studied and had a recent appearance for unknown reasons. Wanting to know more about this strange energy, which would later be called "Magic", they took him to the Citadel to test and experiment with him. His parents resisted at first, but once offered a large sum of money for the boy, they relented and allowed for the scholars to take him back with them. Ulthis begged and pleaded with his parents, but they did nothing to prevent him from leaving.
At the Citadel, he was tested to his limits to see just how attune he was with magic; the more he showed them, the more intrigued they became. He had never learned any of the spells he casted, but he cast them as if he had known them his whole life. During some testing, Ulthis was seriously injured, causing the scholars to worry for his well-being only to find that the wound was almost immediately healed. This began the experimentations that were performed on him; disection, loss of limbs, loss of organs, any horrific mutilation that could be done with the equipment they had on hand. The experimentation went on for 10 years, until the scholars found another child that was similar to Ulthis. Unlike Ulthis, the new boy used magic to hurt people who he felt got in his way, like his mother and father. The boy would torment Ulthis day and night. He would laugh while the scholars experimented on him, and he would inflict wounds onto him while he tried to sleep, which, to the scholars surprise, would not heal quickly, causing Ulthis to gain his scars. After that, the two would be made to use their magic on one another to see how far they could injure one another, although Ulthis refused to hurt the boy. Because of this, Ulthis was gravely injured many times, some days even needing to mended by a healer. One year after they were first pitted against one another, on a particularly foul day for Ulthis, they were once again pitted against each other as usual, but this time Ulthis struck back with a great flame that nearly encompassed the entire toom. As the fire and smoke disappated, they saw that only Ulthis remained.
Now aware of the power he holds, the scholars stopped their experiments the boy and elected to leave him for the time being, but it was much too late. Ulthis, traumatized by his first kill, completely shut down, only leaving his room when forced to. During the day, he would sit on his bed and stare at the wall, and at night he could be heard quietly sobbing to himself about wanting to go home and cursing whoever gave him this power. The staff would try to feed him, but he would refuse unless it were forced down his throat. He would often go weeks or even months without food, waiting for his body to wither away and die, though death would never come for him.
Some years later, another child named Ingris, was brought to the school and introduced to Ulthis. For many weeks, she attempted to become friends with the boy as he was the only one there who was close to her age. One day, the scholars began to drag her out of Ulthis' room for experimentations. She began to scream and cry for him to not let them take her away again, which seemed to trigger a memory within him, reminding him of the day he was taken away. This caused him to get up from his bed and approach the adults and with a wave of his hand, send them to another place: to this day they have not been found. From that day on, the two were completely inseperable, acting as brother and sister, they would often eat and play with their magic together. He would show her beautiful images like the valley of flowers in Olnore, or the coasts of Sephra and the like. They would also sleep in the same room, if anyone tried to remove her, Ulthis would hold tightly onto her. This would go on for several more years.
Wanting a better life for his adopted sister, Ulthis would attempt to leave the school with her. By the end of their escape, they had nearly reached the edge of the premises before being caught by the staff who had begun to separate the two and send them back to their individual rooms. This angered Ulthis and caused him to once again lose control of his magic, summoning an even larger flame which encompassed the entire Citadel. Seeing the destruction and the remains of the entire staff and all of it's scholars, Ulthis turned to grab Ingris only to see her charred body standing behind him, reaching out for the boy.Education
