Military: Battle
"As the conflict commenced, Vorkas Syn issued a challenge to Kormak Eskil, the mightiest of the Frostborn, for a solitary duel amidst the heart of the battle." "Brandishing his formidable, time-worn hammer, Kormak smote his Aeadin adversary with a primal bellow, creating a thunderous resonance as hammer and foe met the earth in unison." -Aegersol Codex, Book 4
On the field of Egrallthyl before the gates of Nythallone, the army of Dwarves and Men marched to demand a surrender from the Aeadin, who hid behind the walls. Rejecting the request, the remaining Aeadin soldiers emerged from the city to meet their enemy on the field of battle. Among the bloodshed, Vorkas Syn found the largest Frostborn he could see, and challenged him to single combat, to prove his mettle. After an arduous battle, the Frostborn Chieftain, Kormak Eskil, proved victorious and struck down Vorkas Syn with a mighty blow, ending the war and driving out the remaining Aeadin. There was much celebration and revelry among the victorious until the shards fell to Qestrus.
