Military: Battle
"In their faith that the Frostborn were untamed, lacking in the wisdom of their teachings, the Aeadin ventured forth and entered the realm of the Eternal Frost." "And lo, after the span of three months, in the midst of fridgit conflicts within the icy wilderness and enduring heavy tribulations, the Aeadin withdrew to the shelter of their waiting vessels." -Aegersol Codex, Book 4
Seeing their gruesome display of the previous groups attempt at allying themselves with the Frostborn, the rest of the Aeadin fleet lands at the coast of the Eternal Frost. The initial group of Frostborn retreated into the frozen wastes of their home with thousands of Aeadin soldiers in pursuit. Unknown to the soldiers, the Frostborn leaders sent word to the other tribes, who had begun marching to meet the Aeadin army. Using the hostile environment and trained beasts of their own, including dire wolves, frost trolls, and even giant serpents, they fought through many skirmishes to fight off the invaders. It is said that for every Frostborn they killed, a hundred more would take their place and fight with greater ferocity. After only three months of fighting, the army had lost the majority of it's soldiers and had begun to retreat back to their ships to set sail for Vor Thurum, believing that they would be safe from the savages.
