"In the face of Erudas' intervention, Velxus, undeterred, smote Auro with his sword, shattering her into fragments. The shards of the divine essence descended upon Qestrus with a resounding fracture, a testament to her mortal demise." "And from the lesser shard, there arose five celestial beings: Enir, Ceteyar, Ugen, Utix, and Inera. The nascent deities stirred from their slumber, gazing upon Erudas as he descended to his knees, releasing a cry of sorrow, thereby splintering a portion of himself into five distinct fragments." -Aegersol Codex, Book 1

Near the end of the first Era, Velxus had created a trap for Erudas which would allow the Twilight god to access the Beyond. Upon entering the realm of Gods and filled with rage, Velxus approached Auro with sword drawn, prepared to complete his vengeful quest. But Erudas, knowing of the trap and leading his creation there, attempted to reason with his child. And, as he reached for Velxus, the dark God struck down Auro with a powerful blow, shattering her completely and sending the bulk of her shards down to Qestrus. Destraut at the sight of his sister's demise, Erudas wept and shattered a part of himself, knowing that he could never right the wrongs he had done to her. The shards of Auro and Erudas soon formed the two new pantheons of the world: the Day and the Night Pantheon. Of the Day, there were Enir, the Blessed, Ceteyar, the Judicator, Ugen, the Green, Utix, the Indulger, and Inera, the Destructive. And of the Night, there were Ealdir, the Hunter, Ebus, the Warsmith, Norageth, the Dead, Aenta, the Just, and Ragara, the Trickster. Together they fought and destroyed Velxus, whose fragments formed the celestials of the Twilight pantheon: Atyx, of the Crimson River, Hoki, the Mongrel, Yra, the Wise, Eanar, the Innocent, and Idella, the Lover. Soon after, Erudas would exile himself from the others, sending himself to wander the infinite Beyond until he could repent for his sins.
