The Curator
According to Grippli legend, the Curator was once a well known grippli scholar who accidentally found his way into the Nine Hells after commiting a horrible crime against his tribe. There, he fell into the River Styx, expecting to be hauled off into the lower layers of Hell for his horrible deeds. Instead, the magic of the River Styx warped his body and mind, making him stronger and smarter than he ever was before. From there, he founded a museum of souls where he keeps his collection of rare and powerful souls he can find among the Nine Hells, as well as grippli who work against their tribes as he did in his mortal days.
