Historical Details
Background
The song of Life and Magic is the only known Sumiir treatise on their bloodmagic. It was also the first text published by Eilum Jehra on his new domain of magic.
History
It was almost immediately distributed to the shah's court to find promising young sorcerers that could be trained in the ways of bloodmagic. After the disaster that killed the author and half of the royal family, the Song of Life and Magic was banned, and its copies destroyed.
Legacy
After all copies of it were burned, only the original remains. Most believe it is gone for good, and that they are lucky bloodmagic was banned. The original Song of Life and Magic remains, however, in a dark cave underneath the two thousand year-old ruins of the Old Palace in Sumiir Nakkha, waiting to be rediscovered.
