Public Agenda
You have recently received a letter inviting you to an assembly with the intent of discussing the concerns of this new rule on the citizens of Behemith. The letter is signed by a seemingly new organization entitled The Iron Civis with vague instructions to meet at the The Bad Drink Inn, in the Phlechite District

Em, yes hello, I’d like to thank you all for coming. Really, we sent a lot of these fliers out, not a whole lot of people want to… nevermind
Right, my name is Vibel Bhasso, and like the rest of you, I am a citizen of Behemith.
Now, as our letters dictated, we are here to discuss the new leadership, and how this will affect us as citizens
We all know that districts like the plechite, the babblehand, fos, Lalt, …hell, even the moonlit vale has been has been overlooked by the crown for years
It’s no secret, we’re underrepresented; seen as if we don’t have anything to bring to the table
Disparate efforts to gain the ear of King Oneiros fell on deaf ears, …but as we all know the reign of the Onerios family is over
Now I know the last few weeks have been a period of unease, distrust, and uncertainty to most, but consider this, instead, as an opportunity
The Lucids might be underhanded, posh, an emblem of class: the very obstacle that has kept us at bay for all of these years
But….relative to some of the…other…noble houses, they have long been seen as the better of…many evils.
But more important, they are connected. Connected enough to turn the capital itself
And like it or not, they are now in power
Now we can watch to see what happens, and fall into the same complacency as before, or we can show these new rulers that we have a voice
We need to act as one, show our worth as one
A woman in the crowd speaks up: “Ay, what’s your point??”
I was getting to that…yes, if new king in power wishes to rule, then so be it, but an understanding of the freedoms and needs of the citizens must be met.
The Iron Civis is not a group of rebels working to undermine the crown, we are the citizens of Behemith, and we are here to show Lucidis that we are the lifeblood of this city
Our plan: show lucidis our support as citizens, and in turn, request that new guidelines be put into place to better represent the common people of Behemith
We already have several individuals invested in our cause, and through our network have amassed a list of tasks which could be of great aid to our city, and consequently, to King Lucid.
As individuals, these are daunting tasks, but what we are asking is that interested individuals approach us in groups, teams if you will, so that we can organize missions for each.
A bunch of people start leaving
Now to fund these endeavors, we have secured donations from many gracious individuals. Upon accepting a mission, willing participants will be given resources as well as a small payment up front, (50 gold, healing potion, etc,) with the rest upon completion.
A few stop walking out, and stick around
Still, I must warn everyone. These missions are not easy, and there is a degree of danger involved with some of them. But, there is much reward. Yes, you can earn a bit of gold, but most importantly, we will vote on a list of reasonable requests, which, one we feel we have proved ourself, will be submitted to be read to the King.
Now, please do not feel rushed. This is an ongoing endevour. Any who are comfortable with organizing a mission now, are welcome too. But if you are on the fence, please, take some time, reconsider. Draeg, has agreed to take the names of any individuals would like to arrange a meeting later on.
