Era beginning/end
E4 decides to turn himself in to the Citadel and departed from the group one last time back to Helm’s Hold. The CR5 continues eastward toward the Ancestral Order hideout, Meinheld, where Vel can check in with his order, and then eventually into Bewylndir to find Berezhki.
Session 55: E4 departs / Giant stone
E4 has reveals what information he knows about his background to group as well as what his plans are moving on. Ultimately, he decides to turn himself into the Citadel. That he lost control of himself, and was only able to gain control back with the help of the party. Once there he plans to reveal to supreme watcher Turris that he was able to fix himself, as well as vaguely mention that the Coastguard are after him (without mentioning Detlev). Reduced back to level 1 and with a new hopefully rehabilitated E4 prime still with him, he sets back toward Helm’s hold with the aid of Buford Clifford.
The rest of the CR5 continues to travel east toward Meinheld, Vel concerned about the physiological effects that have been cropping up, as well as eventually finding Berezhki who can hopefully clue them into the nightmare the plagues them all. On the road, the group finally opened of the Giants stone they had been holding to great success, retrieving both a multi-tool and a ring of spell storing which contained the Leomund’s tiny hut spell
Session 56: False Awakening
The group continues eastward, and has a few zainy owl shenanigans. Sal used his braciole to try to find his friends. Cordin and Gus could not be found by the briciole, however he found Tom alive in Oseta, badly burnt on his left side, living in a small ramshackle dwelling on the poorer side of town.
Eri learned that Velsharoon wants her to retrieve a powerful artifact from the forest of palea by following the macabre chariot. Recalling Helm’s instruction to learn Velsh’s plans, she accepted his request and handed her flail over which rusted away and disappeared after waking back up. Velsh lastly warned Eri that if she didn’t heed his warning and left the artifact, she’d be leaving it in the hands of Illos.
During what you later found to be a collective false awakening; you all saw the crack rack burning in the middle of the woods. The maroon-robed cultist essentially denouncing you for not joining them, and sentencing you all to infinite madness, and Marrali in the other window saying you expressing her grief and disappointment in you. You all awoke again for real this time, hopefully, with the beginning stages of tincture, fully beginning to set in.
