Personal history
Born in the island city of Di Triza on the Isle of Aegaenos, Maccus Derabusase grew up in a moderately wealthy family. He was raised to not trust those outside of his own neighborhood in Di Triza, no less in the next province over. This unhealthy level of distrust led Maccus to develop a severe case of xenophobia and hate towards the residents of the other islands. Maccus infiltrated the government in Di Triza with a military coup at the age of 19, after running a smear campaign against the leader, and proceeded to take his assault force towards the rest of the island to solidify his territory. By the age of 28, after gaining the support of Queen Electreco, Maccus had conquered almost half of The Northern Archipelago. He soon joined the Leveral Powers under the Lost Men, and in 6 QY kidnapped Ellayiri Pryce, who was from a wealthy mercantile family of Therana.
