Hell Lute

History

Vanya doesn't remember much about his deal with The Dark Man at the crossroads, but he does remember that when he came to his senses, he had this lute, and could play it perfectly . . .
After Vanya declared that he was "hell's songbird" at the feeding house, a carving of a songbird appeared on the neck of the lute. The beak is sharp, and Vanya instinctively knows that if he deliberately cuts himself on it, something will happen.

Significance

Vanya's lute cannot be broken and gives him the Extra Performance feat for free.
