The silent, painted Vistani of Carnival. According to Madam Fortuna, the face paint, the silence, and their refusal to answer to their real names protect the Skurra from the Twisting. If any of them were ever to remove the paint, speak a word, or answer to their name, that person would immediately be Twisted.
