Lake Hilliesta

Overview

Originally given it's name 'Blood lake', the landmark was soon adopted into the worship of Hilliesta and has become a sacred place for those who follow her or ask things of her. Seperating the dunes of eastern Sengar from the Heart Forest, the lake was often a point of wonder for those who travelled past it. 
In recent history, people have brought offerings and sacrifices to this location and spilled their blood in the red waters of Lake Hilliesta as a form of praise, or a request for fertility. It has become a tradition in many smaller settlements to make the journey to the lake before trying for a child, so that the child may be blessed by the demon Goddess herself.
