Jungle Temple

Hidden within the Jungle of Star Fall Island's Forest Biome is a temple of unknown origin. Appearing to be far older than anything else found on the island before it is theorized that it is perhaps remnants of the original natives of the island.

Architecture

The ruins of the temple have perimeter of unknown Assylum that give off a scent of cinamon surrounding it. Within this perimeter are four large worn pyramids with steps coming up from the sides that are facing the center of the complex.   On the top of the Southern Pyramid sits a stone scale. Initially this scale had eight stones on the ground surrouding it, ever since the Ravens visited the ruins the stones for Light and Darkness have been sitting balanced on the top of the scales.   At the top of the Western Pyramid are three different statues. One is that of a hyuran priest, the next of a dragon, and the third is of a serpent. In the middle of these three statues is a stone tablet. The tablet depicts a bunch of figures bowing to something, though that something has been worn off completely. In addtion to this picture a single phrase is written in an unknown language: Rhei ool dran afah oom sohm al.   Upon the top of the Northern Pyramid is a collection of three statues and three murals. The statues are a lalafell, a hyur, and an Au Ra. Each of the statues have their hands outstretched with their palms up. In the hands of the lalafell are the stones with the symbols for Fire and Ice, in the hands of the hyur are the stones for wind and levin, and in the hands of the Au Ra are the stones for Earth and Water. Each mural depicts similar individuals. The first mural is a group of lalafell huddled around a camp fire in the midst of a blizzard, the second mural is a hyur steering a sail boat with a thunderstorm behind him, and the last mural is a Xaela coming up out of the water and gathering up a fist full of dirt in their hand.   Lastly the Eastern Pyramid originally had an ancient silver backed mirror on top of it with an empty offering bowl sitting before it. Now the mirror is missing, but the offering bowl sits filled with Assylum flowers.   Within the center of this grouping are six glowing stone pillars, each with a symbol of a different element pressed into it. In the midst of these pillars now also stands an altar. Though two of the objects that the altar contained are now missing, there is a map of the island inscribed upon the altar with a mark near Raven's Perch. Additionally, there is an impossibly smooth crystal orb embedded in the altar giving off massive amounts of aether.

History

The purpose and origin of the temple are unknown, however certain indications have led people to believe that the builders had some connection to Geomancy.
