Arrester

Part of the Lyev Column of the Azorius Senate and making up most, if not all, of the ground based infantry in the guild. Most of these officers know simple magic that can compel or restrain, but they are primarily relied on for good old fashioned elbow grease. Some people and creatures are immune or resistant to magic and when a threat like that comes to an Azorius Neighborhood, Arresters are called to the front lines.

Arresters maintain the peace in Azorius territory by removing threats - both actual and potential - as they are identified on regular patrols, citizen reports, and occasional alerts from the Precognitive Mages, a relatively new addition to the ranks of the Lawmages. As an Arrester gains rank, they can be promoted to Officer or Imperator. Like Lawmages, Arresters can be promoted to Hussar as well.
