Exclusive: Inside the Augustin Station Investigation

At last the Izzet weigh in on the tragedy that we covered in our previous article Izzet Weird Causes Havoc at Augustine Station. At the time we were unable to get the Izzet side of the story. Of course they were in full clean up mode, and so had reasonably more important things to do. However our reporting team has managed to land an exclusive interview with Wolfgang Airheart.
While the Airheart name is familiar to many, Wolfgang himself is a bit of a mystery. Son of Director Gertrudt Airheart, and a respected researcher within the Laboratory of Gravitation Inversion, Wolfgang is familiar with the investigation of the incident at Agustin Station, and wanted to set the record straight.
Our reporting crew met with Wolfgang and his imposing entourage at a secret location. While some of the details of the investigation can be shared with our readers, other key points must be kept quiet for now. Our meeting location provided a safe space to talk freely.
Wolfgang set our minds at ease immediately by explaining that the Izzet have narrowed down the suspect list considerably. Once they have the facts needed to act, they will, and without hesitation. Now some readers may doubt if the Izzet will actually do any harm to one of their own, but Wolfgang made it very clear that it didn't matter where the trail lead, they would ensure that person pays for their disruption. 
Strong words from a guild that frequently blows up buildings, and then analyzes how to make the explosion bigger, not caring about the injured or damaged property. In fact Wolfgang feels like a new generation of bold Izzet willing to embrace the common folk of our city and look out for them.
Wolfgang then hinted at an interesting development, "Our investigation is pointing toward a former Izzet researcher who is using her knowledge and skill to cause disruption and hurt people." I was shocked by this admission. Wolfgang stressed that this guild member was kicked out long ago, but holds a grudge against many people in the Tenth District. He suspects that her mania has driven her to commit this (and several other) horrible acts. 
We wanted to know what was holding the Izzet back from making their move right now. Wolfgang assured us that while most of the clues pointed toward this former guild member, there were lacking one vital element to really pin it on them. But the investigation was proceeding as quickly as possible.
Wolfgang assured us that he would make sure that he would provide an additional exclusive interview when the capture and punishment of this vile maniac were meted out. At that time he would share additional vital details of the investigation for our readers to absorb.
Our interview concluded with his thoughts on the Izzet improvements to our urban life and how improvements in safety and speed of air travel were going to make our lives much better. As serious as the handsome Wolfgang is about this investigation, he has a boyish optimism that is infectious and admirable. Wolfgang's leadership is something to be admired and we hope his own guild sees that as well.
