High Judge

Requirements

To be High Judge they must work through the previous ranks of service in the Sin Seeker organization. Once they attain the rank of Judge, they must render judgements and submit them to the current High Judge for their confirmation. During their service there cannot be a single conflicting judgement between the Judge and High Judge. Once the High Judge reaches the end of their service they select from the viable Judges for an adequate replacement. If none are available the High Judge will continue service till one is available. If the station has to be vacated due to death or other reasons a Deputy of Judgement is appointed to summon a committee of other Judges to determine the next best candidate for the station.

Appointment

When the previous High Judge selects their heir, they conduct a ritualistic appointment. Once completed the previous High Judge mentors the new High Judge on the expectations of their new station and the text they can consult on previous judgements for their future duties. Once completed the previous High Judge goes into exile to await the time of their demise.

Duties

The High Judge's main duties is to render judgement on the accused presented to them by the other Judges of the Sin Seeker orangization.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

High Judges have never been dismissed from their station. Though it does not mean it cannot happen. If the High Judge is found guilty of incompetence of their station they can be dismissed.
