Cless' Bracelet

"I'd never seen something so beautiful. It outshone the moon and every star in the sky. Mama never let me touch it though, she said it would consume me. I didn't understand what that meant at the time. I do now."
  • Knowledge-Keeper Arasne Inamore, 'Of All the God's Glory', submitted to Wirrowwir's Central Library in 5394 AC
  • Cless' Bracelet, named after the King of Wirrowwir who claimed the treasure during Zalfari's founding, is a large, golden bracelet covered in diamonds. The diamonds sparkle brighter than any other diamond found within the earth. Staring at the piece for too long is said to have made men go blind.   It has been missing since 5398 AC. The current owner at the time, Ryo Inamore, claimed it was stolen out of his family's vault while they were travelling to Zalfari for the solstice celebration. Some believe he lied in order to stop the constant trading of the bracelet. Others believe it was stolen by his daughter, Arasne Inamore, a Knowledge-Keeper who spent her entire career trying to ascertain its true provenance. She, however, passed in 6000 AC and if she had the bracelet, it was never found in her possessions and thus has been declared lost.

    Significance

This bracelet was said to have been made by Zevax, God of the Forge before the creation of mortals. While the provenance cannot be confirmed, the rumors were enough to make it a status symbol within the Lords of Wirrowwir. It was often used during marriage negotiations and whoever had the bracelet was often given more favor from the king.

"It outshone the moon and every star in the sky." - Such a beautiful statement. I wonder if this quote hints at the bracelet's true fate... Reading this, I definitely think Arasne Inamore was involved!
